Application Process

Application Process

Step 1: Browse our website
The best introduction to Bowman’s philosophy and culture is our website. We recommend you make note of any questions you may have, as this will help you get the most out of your tour.

Step 2: Schedule a tour
We conduct tours on Wednesday mornings in November and January. Tours are approximately one hour in length and are for adults only. During the tour, you will see our campus, observe classrooms, and have a Q&A session with our Head of School. Please RSVP for a tour.

Step 3: Fill out our online application
After you have toured the school, you may complete your application online and submit your $125 non-refundable application fee.

Step 4: Schedule a shadow visit for your child
Shadow visits are the best way for your child to experience Bowman School. They will spend time in the classroom, getting to know Bowman and interacting with students and teachers. Each visitor will be paired with a current Bowman student, who serves as their host to help them feel more comfortable in a new environment. Shadow visits will happen after an application has been submitted. Juniors will visit for two half-days, and Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, and Middle School will visit for two full days. Please pack your child a healthy lunch and snack.

Step 5: Schedule a parent interview with our Director of Admissions
After your child has visited our campus, we will invite you to a meeting with Gaggan Bhella, our Director of Admissions, to discuss any further questions you may have about our program. This meeting is also a chance for us to get to know your family and develop an understanding of your needs and goals for the coming year.
